Curious? Here's the long version.
My mission is to capture the unique story of my clients and their families with passion, authenticity, and joy.
My passion for photography began in my early childhood. I didn't want to just play with dolls like my friends did... I wanted to pose them and take their picture! Imagine how strange it was for my mom to develop a roll of film and find hundreds of pictures of carefully dressed, posed dolls!
Needless to say, I was a weird kid- but that passion for creating beautiful images never went away. In high school I joined the yearbook class and fell in love with the cameras we used, so my dad bought me my first DSLR.
During my college years, my camera was always there, giving me a creative outlet and a hobby that soon became my passion. Still, I needed to do some soul searching, so I switched majors over and over. Nothing ever seemed to feel right, until I finally realized what had always been my true love- photography!
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Photography and since then I have been falling in love with my amazing, challenging, inspiring career.

After college, I worked for other photographers while building my business, acting as a second shooter or studio photographer, or picking up editing jobs. Over the years I built my own brand and client base and began to thrive.

I met my husband and we had 2 beautiful children who are now rambunctious toddlers, and our priorities changd. We decided we wanted a big adventure, so we packed up and moved from the USA to the Netherlands. I knew I still wanted to pursue photography, but I was nervous to start in a totally new culture. Luckily, I've made tons of amazing connections here and now I'm loving my new life!

I love making my clients happy and giving them the fun, relaxed, easygoing experience they deserve. I want to be there with you at every step of your journey, capturing your authentic story!
